If you would like to begin or advance your career in the legal profession as a paralegal, this is the degree for you. In this program, you will learn about working, communicating and researching in the legal environment, enabling you to fully prepare yourself for a career as a paralegal. Some of the courses you will encounter are an introduction to paralegalism, civil processes, family law, torts as well as legal research and writing. Your program may offer general studies or specialized education in a particular area of the law, or a combination of both.

Almost all students who have earned a degree in paralegal studies will go on to work as paralegals.
