What Can I Do With an English Degree?
A popular career route for students who graduate with an English degree is teaching. English will provide you with a good foundation for working in secondary and postsecondary schools in English education and other subjects. If you choose to become a teacher, you will need to add a teaching certificate to your education to be qualified to begin work. Teaching is not the only path for graduates of an English program, however. This degree can also prepare you for a career in communications, writing, business, public relations, editing, researching, translating and working in a library.
