You can use your psychology degree to pursue a career in sales, insurance, marketing and business management, which are all fields that offer a good job outlook with a stable salary. Average annual salaries for psychology degree holders are $24,000 to $35,000. If you decide to continue your education and become a certified psychologist, you'll have a great job outlook as well, as the employment of psychologists will grow faster than average through at least 2014. The average pay for psychologists is $46,000 a year. If you decide to work as a self-employed therapist, you will likely obtain an even higher salary.
